The non-profit Film & Media Alliance of West Michigan promotes and advocates for film and media professionals in West Michigan with three main goals: Develop our crew base through media production community events that encourage collaboration; provide professional development workshops that build skills; and advocate for jobs programs supported by state legislation. Formed by film and media professionals who have lived and worked here since 2005.

Open Projector Night
At OPN screenings, audiences and filmmakers can experience a diverse range of locally made short films from all genres including: narrative, animation, commercial, music videos, documentary, and experimental. Screenings are followed by a filmmaker Q&A and conversation.
